The Silent Spirit

Inside the recesses of your mind
Lies a silent spirit,
Whom to this day, torture’s many,
With its single weapon,
One so small, yet enormous,
No one really recognizes the pain,
Until only a scare remains.
The spirit lies deep within us,
So deep we never see it coming
Until it’s too late,
The damage is done.
The spirit is a cloud that covers the sun,
Never to reopen what was there.
The spirit of Lost Friendships
Is the worst of them all,
To most people it is over,
But I have found one solution,
The need of someone to break the silence.

Desperation

waiting to find that something
to make you whole
no one’s fault
only misery
to cling to
make it end
bring me closer
to that one that will make me whole
I clutch my heart
something to remember
the words that will keep me together
and yet I struggle
to keep my mind quieted
it’s insane
to reach so far into the distance
for something that is impossible to reach now
yet I beg to be made whole
the time has come
to jump ship
or hang on
Protect me
Save me
My heart is screaming
my mind is racing
and my soul cries
Desperation my only comfort

A Presence

A presence,
I need to feel close,
To know that you are only a few comforting words,
Away.
Hold me in your electronic embrace,
Keep me comforted in your words,
I need a presence,
I need to be told I’m safe,
I’m desperately seeking something,
A presence.
Let that presence be you,
I want to say,
I need you.

A Night to Remember

Dressed in the slinky, black silk nightgown
She stands at the bedside looking down on her lover with lust,
Thinking he looks so sexy
Making love to him is a must.
She leans over him, and touches his face.
His hands go to remove the lace.
She sighs and her eyes close.
He moves her into bed with him, to please her more than he knows.
His kiss possesses her lips, and his tongue entreats hers to dance.
Her breaths are no longer steady, but pants
She wants his touch more than anything.
He would not tell her what tonight would bring.
She tingles from the lightest touchy of his fingertips.
As his fingers play upon her lines and curves,
She reaches into his dark mass of hair.
His fingers have found she wears no underwear,
and finds her sweet intimacy
so tempting are her nether lips, he bends down to give them a kiss.
She sighs and squirms, as he pays his homage.
He has been trustworthy in his patronage to her this night.
she will scratch and bite, because that is what he likes.
Their closeness radiates
In the love they show each other.
It will last far into the future
Because he expresses his love to her,
Every time he makes love to her.
Never to dissipate.
He moves to fondle her breasts,
So smooth and supple.
The lover glorifies the couple.
Light butterfly kisses, and tongue flicks.
He savors her as the best of the best.
She feels it is her turn to show she loves her man.
so she takes his manhood in her hand,
and strokes it up and down.
then takes it quickly in her mouth
She teases him till both fires burn.
Next she teases his nipples,
Her tongue dancing on his soft pink flesh.
Fingers sliding to his hair…enmeshed,
Finding his lips again a passionate kiss.
He rolls atop her, her nipples he kisses,
Sending her into ecstasy ripples.
Next, sheathing himself in her tightness,
He sights and she arches her back.
It’s been so long since they made love last,
she had forgotten the exquisite pleasure he brings
Moving quite effortlessly in her sex; she sings
of loving feelings in this bliss.

Three Candles

Three candles, sit before me
Made of purest wax
Each a time of my life

The first candle when looked upon
Is imperfect, blackened

Dusty, wick removed
Extinguished too soon
A sad time of my life

Past

The second candle
Burning, flickering
Ribbons of melted wax

Pour down the sides
Wick too short to sustain a strong flame

Present

Third candle
New, brightest blue
Rests

Unlit
Waiting for a wick

Future

Each wick is love
The flame, hope

What love shall fuel the flame of my future?
Certainly not the past
For that love left and cooled the wax abruptly.

Definitely not the present
For it struggles to find that small amount of fuel to survive

I search for the flame of the future
So that my candle does not burn out
I hold the wick in my hand

Waiting for someone to offer a flame

Till then I shelter this wick

Protect it with my heart
One day it will light my future

I Wait

I wait.
I wait for life to begin. I wait for my journey to start.
Waiting is all I ever do.
When will I finally get there?
When will I be able to say I need not wait anymore,
I have arrived?
I wait to succeed.
I wait for friends.
I wait for love.
Waiting is all I ever do.
Is it all I am meant for?
Or shall I finally be free to take that step into the present,
Where patience is obsolete?

Fire In My Soul

There is a fire in my soul
burning and craving a single fuel
It aches constantly
And isn’t far from my mind.

The fire was started by me
To provide warmth
Comfort, ecstasy
When everything I knew failed.

This burning is fueled by You
You fan the flames
Bring me higher
Than I’ve ever been before.

What I Want

Strength
I need that more than anyone could know
Someone to hold me up when I feel like falling
A person to take my hand and keep me up

Compassion
A being understanding
Lovingly held in my own thoughts
I desire kindness

Maturity
I don’t want a child
Give me someone who knows what they want
Carries responsibility

Trust
I want to be able to give everything I have
And not fear losing it
Left weak and woeful

Self-control
Control yourself and you can control me
Show me you can maintain your anger
I will give you a chance

Desire
Do you have that desire
Be all that with me
My heart may open for you
